The Giant Lotus which is attached to Shiva’s navel, symbolizes the Universe coming into existence as Shiva and the Cosmic Goddess Bhavani United and a whole new Universe comes into being The Cosmic Goddess is larger to show here superiority over Shiva. Her crown in the shape of a pyramid has sixteen crowned heads, each one contains a third eye. Her mouth is slightly open, with tiny teeth and fangs that show her ferociousness. Her eyes are bit crooked, while scary, she is still beautiful. She has many arms and everything that is in the cosmos trees, rivers, oceans animals and divinities. She is the Cosmic holder of it all, The Great Mother.

“Selflessness is the sign of the selfless;
Bow down at the door of the selfless.
The selfless are the highest authority.
The kings of time and the wearers of the crest and crown.
I dashed down into the nether regions and brought the vital breath up;
I got its clue out of earth and stones:
Then my kundalini woke up with nada;
I drank wine by the mouth,
I got the vital breath gathered it within myself;”
